*Reports to:* Sanitation Supervisor and/or Sanitation Lead(s)
*Primary Objective:* Sanitation team members are responsible for the thorough and accurate cleaning of all packaging equipment either food or non-food contact.
Team members are required to know how to properly disassemble and reassemble all packaging equipment with food contact surfaces.
All team members are required to follow all SOP’s, GMP’s, HACCP, Food Safety and Food Defense programs.
*Major Areas of Responsibility:*
* Responsible for efficiently and accurately cleaning all packaging equipment in a timely manner
* Able to work with other team members in a professional and productive manner
* Communicate any issues, questions, concerns to a supervisor or lead
* Titrating chemicals (making sure chemicals are within range for use)
* Cleaning both High and Medium zones
* Responsible for returning used/unused vacuum brushes/attachments to proper area for cleaning/storage
* Assist in completing housekeeping lists for all areas of the plant
* Proper cleaning/emptying of vacuums
* Washing pallets
* Mopping
* Cleaning forklitfs
* Inspection/changing of Return Air Filters
* Safe operation of a Forklift for required tasks (bringing vacuums down from second floor PL1, installation/removal of dryer tote in tote washroom, etc.
)
* Strictly adheres to all GMP’s/SOP’s
* Extras as appointed by supervisor
*Knowledge, skills, and abilities:*
* Able to lift 50lbs while bending, twisting, reaching, squatting or standing
* Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, platforms or in confined spaces
* Disassembly and reassembly of equipment
* Critical thinking
* Forklift cerification
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
