Job Summary Analyze and develop software solutions through identification of requirements by creating, testing, and maintaining applications and databases.
This role will support ERP system functionality, in addition to building and maintaining custom applications and reports for the organization.
Essential Functions Work with programming team to understand existing applications and underlying data structures Collaborate with internal customers to identify and analyze business/project requirements and then design, develop, and test solutions accordingly Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language Maintains technical reference materials for use with team by maintaining user documentation and IT reference guide Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Performs other duties required to support the business' needs Minimum requirements / Qualifications Student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Programming skillset: .
NET, C# (or similar), Transact-SQL Knowledge and understanding of relational databases An analytical approach with resourcefulness and problem-solving attitude Communication skills to effectively communicate to non-technical end users and process owners (written and verbal) Ability to develop requirements and organize project tasks with end users Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly Physical Work Conditions Office work requires sitting/standing at a desk, using a computer and phone.
While on the production floor, there will be work with and around moving machinery, fumes, and chemicals.
