Responsibilities Receives direction from a Manager or Director within the Strategy department.
Works in partnership with leaders and staff across the department to provide technical, data or analyst support to key team and department projects.
The Technical Specialist-Operations plays a crucial role in efficiently managing and coordinating requests through the intake process, receiving and coordinating feedback requests, and tracking operational activities to support Strategy operations managers, directors, and chairs.
Serving as a liaison between operational subject matter experts (SMEs) and customers, the specialist demonstrates initiative, proficiency, and adaptability in carrying out various responsibilities.
Responsibilities include reconciling, processing, gathering, maintaining, analyzing, summarizing, and/or reporting data in operational and reporting systems.
maintaining operational activities such as supporting UKG & Oracle requests and approvals, resource monitoring, day-to-day operational tasks, logistics coordination, documentation creation and special projects.
The specialist identifies roadblocks or barriers to progress and resolves or escalates appropriately and plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and success of the Strategy team.
*This position is a combination of remote and onsite support work.
Individual must live within driving distance to the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with two years of relevant experience.
Experience must include several of the following areas of expertise: data analytics, computer science, statistics, social science research, operations research, econometrics, systems, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, databases, report writing, analysis, computer operations, technology support, computer platforms, software, project management, web tools and applications.
Additional Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft suite of products, database design and maintenance, SharePoint, Oracle, UKG, and reporting software.
Requires the ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and use various data gathering techniques and software capabilities to create data sets to support information needs, organize survey instruments and responses, and identify ways to present meaningful data for mapping and presentations.
Possess a customer-centric mindset and demonstrate effective and appropriate decision-making, attention to detail and follow-through, and ability to troubleshoot for relevant technology related issues.
Must have an affinity for technology and proficient use of digital resources, multitasking ability, and the capacity to navigate multiple systems simultaneously are essential.
