Responsibilities This is a full time remote position within the United States.
The Cancer Center Systems unit has an opening for an IT Analyst Programmer.
The selected candidate will provide technical support for Cancer Center applications that support the human subject clinical trials activities within Cancer Center and the Research Shield.
They will be part of an Agile team that supports and enhances many of our applications and services.
Exposure to managing custom developed applications is desired.
Other desired skills and experiences include: Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to complete projects & tasks on time.
Experience developing with Java and/or Angular.
Experience working with backend relational databases (Stored Procedures, Query Optimization, Schema changes) Experience working in healthcare technology.
Experience working within the Agile methodology Azure DevOps experience & pipeline deployment Provides IT support for custom applications, including resolving highly complex issues, and assists with data security, redundancy, and support in collaboration with more senior technical staff.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and training/experience in technical development; OR, Associate’s degree and 5 years’ professional experience in technical development.
Knowledge of system design principles, software development methodologies, and computer programming.
Ability to take responsibility and accountability for own activities.
Possesses ability to multi-task and prioritize issues appropriately.
Aids in the evaluation of alternative approaches and may help in presenting recommendations to teams and unit.
Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills.
May interface with vendor support service groups or other external support teams to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
Acts as a liaison to Mayo departments and vendors to adequately support the division's computing systems.
Experience working in healthcare technology.
Exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied applications.
