Job Position: Assistant Project Manager
Purpose: You will be the on-site administrative support for the Project Manager and Construction Manager to ensure the daily administrative requirements of the project are completed daily.
Utilize an in depth understanding of Knobelsdorff processes and procedures to ensure projects are completed accurately, on-time, and within budget.
Responsibilities Work alongside and take direction from Project and Field Management team.
Assist with the project documentation distributed, and/or received from project teams to include: construction documents, RFIs, safety documents, closeout documents, etc.
Attends project team meetings, keeping meeting minutes.
Assist the project team with creating, and distributing meeting communication to the project team, and responding to questions.
Assist with the management and reporting of scheduled construction activities to ensure the project stays on schedule.
Supports the project team with project changes by coordinating, and communicating any information relating to change orders, bulletins, addendum, and design changes.
Create, prepare and coordinate: reports, trackers, deliverables, status reports, and other materials as needed.
Assist with management and documentation of financial items related to the project such as: project expenses, equipment rentals, and subcontractor project expenses.
Attend “Tailgate” meetings prior to work to discuss job site hazards, JHA completion, daily objections, and best practices.
Assists the project team with communication of safety audits, incident and Injury reports, and correction notices.
Assist with preconstruction preparation, coordination, and handoff.
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.
Competency in Microsoft applications (i.
e.
, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
