The Buffalo County Highway Department is hiring for a Seasonal Truck Driver.
While the main duty of this position is to drive truck, this position may also assist in the following: measuring and placing grade and alignment stakes using tapes, measuring devices and construction grade levels; operating light construction equipment, machinery, and tools for construction; and hand tool operations such as shovels, rakes, saws, tampers, hammers, etc.
This is a limited-term, seasonal, non-skilled position under the general supervision of one or more Highway Department supervisors for the purpose of highway construction and maintenance.
This position is anticipated to work from 5/6/2024-10/10/2024.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license w/ Class A or B CDL.
This is an hourly position paying $22.
21 per hour and is not eligible for benefits.
This position will work from 6:00AM – 4:00PM from Monday through Thursday.
