*Attorney Duties and Responsibilities*
* Consult with clients on legal best practices
* Prepare motion documents and pleadings
* Review discovery documents and define the best course of action
* Adhere to a consistent schedule of hearings, court appearances, case-related conferences, and be attentive to important deadlines
* Facilitate the depositions of experts and case witnesses
* Research and anticipate legal risks
* Remain self-driven and motivated
*Attorney Requirements and Qualifications*
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, which must include basic courtroom etiquette and skills
* Skills of persuasion and negotiation
* Strong time management and organizational skills
* Detail-oriented
* Strong computer skills and competency
* Professional attitude and strong personal ethics
* Administrative and managerial experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year experience in family law or criminal defense
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
* Licensed in the State of Minnesota
