The Dunlap & Seeger team currently includes nineteen attorneys, and approximately forty total team members, and is growing.
We are seeking an experienced leader, who shares our mission for delivering innovative, business- focused solutions and the highest level of client service, to join our team-oriented culture.
The Firm
Administrator is a leadership position responsible for management of the business functions and overall day-to-day operation of the Firm.
The position has direct responsibility for: budget preparation and financial management *human resource duties and professional staff development*
* oversee the IT team and manage other vendors/suppliers *assist in marketing and client development activities * provide strategic support to firm leadership, practice areas and attorneys *manage the Firm’s office*
Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be organized, be a driven, self-starter, able to multi-task, and be able to complete projects promptly and timely with follow up communication when needed.
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, as well as bookkeeping, timekeeping and billing systems is desired, but not necessary.
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or equivalent experience is preferred but not required.

*General Responsibilities:*
* Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, poise, and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
* Collaborate with the firm’s Executive Team and committee chairs to implement business and marketing plans, budget, and strategic initiatives.
* Maintain strict confidentiality in all services provided.
* Provide firm leadership with information/support necessary to assist in managing the strategic direction of the office and accomplish its goals.
* Attend partner meetings and facilitate communication of office/firm issues or initiatives.
* Ensure local business development activities are properly coordinated.
* Coordinate accounting and financial activities, as well as ensuring adequate internal controls are in place.
* Develop, update, and monitor office budgets, which includes budget variance analysis and expense control activities to include managing staff overtime.
* Provide monthly financial reporting to shareholders.
* Review, analyze and assist with billing and collection activities; provide support and guidance to billing attorneys to ensure compliance with firm financial policies.
* Administer, communicate and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
* Recommend and manage staffing levels; participates in the recruitment and selection process; ensures proper attorney support is provided based on attorney needs and staff skill levels.
* Evaluate professional staff's performance.
* Establish and maintain relationships with outside vendors.
*Qualifications:*
* Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
* Proven excellence as an office assistant, office administrator, or in another relevant position.
* Outstanding communication skills in person, in writing, over the phone, and via video conferencing.
* Resourceful team player with the ability to work independently.
* Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing firm or office needs.
* Ability to learn and train on new software platforms.
* Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or equivalent experience is preferred
* On-the-job experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office 365, as well as bookkeeping, timekeeping, and billing systems.
