You will be part of a team of four local Proposal Managers, with the support of an extended team in Chennai.
All are dedicated to producing influential, accurate, integrated multi-product capital equipment proposals (scope 2 and higher).
By joining this team, you will work in an international environment involving different cultures, challenges, and time zones.
You will
Review contract language, attachments, appendices, terms and conditions, and other contract documents to ensure they meet the risk profile and align with the companies’ guidelines, policies, and procedures for entering into any Agreements with customers.
What you bring
4-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in business administration, finance, law, or other related field of study.
Commercial and financial understanding of OEM equipment supply contracts and their practical application.
Detail-oriented, able to review, understand, and identify commercial and financial contractual risks and potential mitigation/solutions.
Solid understanding of business fundamentals, financial metrics, contract terminology, and detailed reviews.
Experience with contract reviews with emphasis on commercial and financial aspects.
Broad-based understanding and experience with commercial contract provisions, identification of commercial contract risks and mitigations, project scheduling and reporting, and other commercial contractual requirements.
Understanding of project financial aspects, including financial contract provisions, securities, cash flows, payment milestones, methods of payment, and any penalties or incentives related to project completion within stipulated timelines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to proactively work with internal team members from Group Legal, Treasury, Finance, Tax, and Sales to present results of contractual reviews and their implications.
FLS Group Legal completes legal reviews and opinions, so collaborating and working cohesively on contract reviews is essential.
