Job Description:
AMD Distribution is seeking a friendly and organized individual who is interested in a long-term role to join our team as a Receptionist.
As a Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and professional first impression for our company.
You will be responsible for greeting customers, managing phone calls, maintaining office supplies, and handling parcel orders efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees as they enter the premises.
Provide information about the company and direct individuals to the appropriate personnel or department.
Manage incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
Direct calls to the appropriate staff or department and take accurate messages when necessary.
Provide basic information about the company and its services.
Monitor and maintain office supply levels to ensure a well-equipped and organized workspace.
Place orders for office supplies as needed, keeping track of inventory and restocking supplies when necessary.
Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of office materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient in using office equipment and basic computer applications.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
