Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team.
As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients.

Responsibilities:
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards or customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur to maintain their appearance
- Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Assess pets' skin and coat condition and recommend appropriate treatments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions about grooming services
- Keep accurate records of each pet's grooming history
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or in a related role is preferred
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming needs
- Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
Skills:
- Dog handling skills to ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions
- Veterinary assistant skills to assist with any medical needs or emergencies that may arise during grooming preferably
- Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for pet owners and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Animal care skills to assess pets' health and well-being during grooming sessions
- Pet care skills to provide basic care such as feeding, watering, and exercise while pets are in your care
- Animal handling skills to safely restrain pets during grooming procedures
- Dog training skills to assist with behavior management during grooming sessions
- Veterinary knowledge to identify any potential health issues or abnormalities in pets' skin, coat, or overall condition
- Ability to lift and carry heavy pets or equipment as needed
- Veterinary technician skills to assist with medical procedures or administer medications if required
