About Nexus: Our team of licensed therapists at Nexus-Gerard Family Healing are specially trained in trauma and stress.
We are committed to helping family stay together, heal, grow, and move forward.
We offer outpatient therapy services in our offices in Austin, MN and Albert Lea, MN.
We also offer outpatient therapy services to schools within Mower County.
Our evidence-based practices include: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) EMDR Art Therapy Play Therapy Family Therapy Responsibilities: Provide therapeutic interventions to youth and families Complete Diagnostic Assessments Develop and implement Treatment Plans Communicate with legal systems, schools and social service agencies and provide court testimony when needed Coordination of referrals Ensure compliance with governing agency and Nexus reporting requirements.
Maintain the clinical record according to site policy.
Produce informal and formal reports for parents, social workers, courts, etc.
Remain current on all required training and certifications.
