The LICSW will have a Clinical Intern to assist with assessments, reports (BASC, Vineland, CMDE, etc.
), paperwork and other clinical items as needed, as well as behavioral therapists that work 1:1 with the youth during intensive therapy and as they integrate back into school and home for generalizing and maintaining their skills.
The LICSW will work directly with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst regarding behavioral treatments in addition to CBT, DBT, and other therapeutic tools necessary for the youth and caregivers across settings (home, school, community).
_Program Beliefs (a way to explain to caregivers)_ 1.
Services work best for families when everyone works together and has the same goals for treatment.
2.
Caregivers are an important part of this teamwork, including making decisions.
3.
The family as a whole is the focus of the treatment, not just the youth.
4.
Routines can be built around the family’s strengths in addition to creating new habits.
