About the Community: This newly created role will be based out of SoRoc on Maine in Rochester, MN and will focus on the maintenance for a newly constructed 194-unit property adjacent to the existing community.
About the Role: Northland is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to complete maintenance service requests and work orders including, but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, pool maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and housekeeping items.
This role will also complete apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins in a timely manner while working safely and efficiently.
This role will support the new development at SoRoc on Maine with an anticipated start date on or around April 2024.

As part of our promise to deliver a top-tier experience to our residents, maintenance team members are required to handle after-hours emergency calls, and be on-call, as needed, including nights and weekends.
Job Requirements:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors
Must be able to work nights and weekend shift as part of the on-call responsibility.
