Cleaning Attendant/Assistant
Summary
We take pride in the appearance and maintenance of our environment as we are medical facility.
We do everything in our power to make our clinic a clean, comfortable and pleasant smelling building.
Essential duties and responsibilities: other duties may be assigned.
Performs all duties listed on cleaning checklists on a daily/weekly/monthly manner
Recognizes problem areas and takes care of them on own
Restocks exam rooms/treatment room/surgery room and dental area
Restock papertowels
Empty garbages
Clean all sinks
Wipe down/clean breakroom/kitchen area
Fill and empty dishwasher
Wash any dishes/litterboxes etc.
in kennel sink
Refill rocal/alcohol/peroxide/hand soap/hand sanitizer bottles
Refill newspapers in kennel areas
Refill pee pads in kennel areas
Maintains coffee cart in lobby
Dusting
Vacuuming
Mopping
Responsible for cardboard disposal
Prepares laundry to be transported
Wiping down of all surgical/treatment equipment
Maintain lobby cleanliness at all times
Water plants as needed
Maintains outside area including parking lot, yard and entryways
Clean bathrooms including toilets
Dust and clean all light fixtures
Clean all windows as needed
Clean and sanitize kennels
Maintain the kid-zone area/keep organized
Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Performs any other duty asked within own skill set
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
No experience necessary, but previous job experience a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one on-
one and small group situations.
Excellent communication skills and be a positive team player with the staff.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems and work independently.
Must be able to identify problems and solve problems on own and a good attention to detail.
