Job Position: IT Desktop Support
Purpose: The purpose of the IT Desktop Support position is to provide end-user support to employees across both locations and remotely.
This role will involve work ranging from desktop and end-user hardware to level 1 help desk and triage.
This position will report to the Director of IT in the Information Technology department.
Responsibilities Collaboration with various levels of diverse business units in order to troubleshoot effectively.
Supporting level 1 helpdesk duties related to the responsibilities defined here and as requested.
Escalate anything out of scope to other IT department team members of their respective roles to ensure operational efficiency.
Microsoft 365 administration focuses solely on identity and access management and triaging various Exchange/email issues.
Complete Onboarding and Offboarding of users and devices.
Identity and access management surrounding user accounts, end-user devices, and related software elevation requests.
Inventory and asset management, including but not limited to replacements due to defects and end-user device lifecycle management according to policies.
Complete and maintain documentation of all desktop support, onboarding/offboarding, and identity and access management processes.
Other project duties as assigned.

1-3 years experience in a similar position is preferred.
Experience or working knowledge in various technologies, such as the Microsoft 365 suite in a Windows environment and end-user computing hardware, such as desktops, laptops, printers, and phones, is preferred.
Ability to communicate with multiple levels of an organization effectively in order to determine needs in troubleshooting Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Must be physically capable of manually digging & back-filling holes and trenches.
Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
